You just need a very clear day and ideally binociulars. Yesterday was such a day and I could see the tops of Snaefell and the other Manx hills through my binoculars, from the cliffs by Bispham tram station. That it was built to fall into the sea if it ever callapsed, that would cause a amusing traffic jam on the A584!
