All you need to do is to gradually increase the amount of riding you do over the next month. If possible, take a longer route to work, or extend your ride on your way home. Increase your once a week ride by 5 miles each week and you will have no trouble reaching your goal.

Absolutely, the other people are right. I’m training for the London to Brighton ride in a couple of weeks. I ride 3 miles to work every day and do a longer ride on the weekend.
I’ve been building up my distances, the last ride I did was 35 miles along the Thames. Doing work on hill climbs will also build up your power as well as endurance.

How do you feel after the 14 mile ride, it will give you an idea how you will do on a 60 mile one. You have time to start riding longer distances every day, 3 miles is just a warm up. Increase your weekend rides by a few miles each week until the big ride.

if you tell your self you can then you can. you could do it if you dont race off and push your self if you stick to a slow but manageable pace and eat regularly you could do it.

Yep Take it nice and easy 12 to 15 miles an hour should do it easy . Depend on your age . Its a fairly flat run to Blackpool… Good Luck

14 miles per hour is a good pace , push your pace to work and extend your long ride to 20 miles .
