Illuminations.
The Christmas lights are just a few left-overs on the lamp posts etc. The illuminations have far FAR more things lit up, and the special trams are dressed out too. Kids love it.

Been to the Illuminations every year, at least once. Did not even know they had Christmas Lights! as the Illuminations finish long before. If you are going, and you are driving through, go Tues/Wed/Thurs. and drive through from Bispham towards Squires Gate., you will normally have an easier passage through without burning out the clutch in your car!!
