Blackpool Pleasure Beach to Introduce Nickelodeon Land Wristbands
Plans are afoot to introduce a Nickelodeon Land wristband. Nickelodeon Land wristbands will allow parents to enjoy unlimited riding with the kids, on all 12 rides, for the same great price of £18 per wristband. Nickelodeon Land wristbands will be available throughout the month of June.
Nickelodeon Land wristbands will also include a Pleasure Beach Pass which gives visitors the chance to also ride the Pleasure Beach Express, explore the Chinese Puzzle Maze, watch the South Beach Show and enjoy the Spectacular Dancing Water Show.
Nickelodeon Land Wristbands will be available to purchase at Pleasure Beach Resort Ticket Centre in person from tomorrow (Tuesday 14th June 2011) and will be available online later this week.
Once you have purchased a Nickelodeon Land wristband, if you decide you would like to enjoy other fantastic rides at Pleasure Beach, it will be possible to upgrade to an Unlimited Ride Wristband. Prices for an upgrade are £14 for adults and £9 for children.
Each group purchasing Nickelodeon Land wristbands must include at least one adult who has purchased a wristband. Nickelodeon wristbands can only be used on the 12 rides on Nickelodeon Land.

The Grand Opening of Nickelodeon Land will take place on 4th May 2011. The opening ceremony for members of the press and media will take place in the morning. The area will be open to the public no later than 3pm.
This collaboration between Pleasure Beach, Blackpool and Nickelodeon, the number one entertainment brand for kids, sees a six acre area of Pleasure Beach transformed into Nickelodeon Land.
Based on characters and shows from the world’s most popular network for kids, Nickelodeon Land is loaded with 12 fantastic rides designed to thrill and entertain the whole family.
With its colourful, park-like atmosphere, Nickelodeon Land is the perfect place to hang out and meet popular Nick characters. You can also grab a bite to eat in the Big Pizza Kitchen or find your favourite trendy Nick clothes and souvenirs at the Nick Shop.
Rides include SpongeBob’s Splash Bash, where you have the opportunity to turn water jets on your friends and blast pesky jellyfish with water for a splashing time.
The Avatar Airbender lets you join Aang on an amazing adventure, spinning and soaring through the air on a giant disk.
The Rugrat’s Lost River is a rollicking flume ride where you join the Rugrats on their quest to find the mythical Temple of Spoon.
