Why Has Blackpool Pleasure Beach Closing Times Got Earlier?

Every time I have gone there, the park usually shuts around 10pm.
I’m going on Sunday (12th July) and according to their website, it shuts at 6pm on that day, 6 is far too early! I’m very disappointed. The opening time seems to have got later too. Great, less time on the park and that’s very annoying if the ques are huge!
I’m disappointed, they should extend their closing time like they used to because 6pm is outrageous. I saw other days that close at 4:30, very disappointing.
Anyone know why the times are so stingy now?

The park closes generally at 8pm, with a few later times in selected days. The park normally closes a little earlier in the early season (around 5pm in March and April, when it goes dark much earlier), and around 8pm during BST, returning to a 6pm finish late in the season in September and October, when GMT returns. But even in the late season and the dark nights, there are a few nights with late openings.

well then don’t blow £75 because it is a lot of money. The rides have long ques so it’s not worth it to spend so much money. go on a different day that way the times may change and blackpool could open a bit later.

Go next week instead, it’s open till 8/10pm then.
It’s probably because the school holidays arent on quite yet and it isn’t peak season for the park so it’d be a big waste of money for them to keep it open longer.

Maybe because it’s summer time and they expect the area to be very busy.
