for a number of years we have been a strong visitor to blackpool after becoming disabled i have found either none or only a few parking for the disabled on street parking with meters in some countys are free all day but not blackpool eg at the back of the pleasure beach near the rail station and other car parks charging between £8 and £12 please help make these parking free for disabled i am sure you would get more visitors many thanks

The extracts from the book discovered in the basement at Moorbank House are fascinating. I am interested in finding out as much as possible about life in Blackpool in the immediate post-war period and in 1947 in particular when my mother worked as a waitress in the Winter Gardens. There does not seem to be much documentary evidence about this period.

Is the book being kept ? If I paid a visit to Blackpool would it be possible to see it ?

came in on Saturday 14/7/12 at around 1pm with a party of 16 being a rael ale pub we liked it unfortunately the woman behind the bar was rude to everyone and we left.You need to employ staff that are friendly and keep your customers happy.

Visited the Dutton Arms today for the first and last time. First ordered our meals and drinks. Glass that my wine was in was full of dirty finger marks and sticky. Secondly when the cutlery arrived the previous diners slimey food was still on the prongs of the fork so that had to go back, and thirdly when my husband turned his fish over it was burnt black.Needless to say we wont be returning.
