Here we are with a subject very close to my heart, Castlemaine 4X beer is to be withdrawn from the UK market
Brewer Lion Nathan is withdrawing the brand from the UK at the end of the month, 25 years after it was introduced to British Pubs and Supermarkets.
InBev UK was licensed to produce the lager at its Samlesbury brewery in Lancashire, northwest England and as such it was widely available in Blackpool Pubs and CIU clubs such as the Duple a little way around the corner from us here in Moore Street, South Shore Blackpool.
Still time marches on and I suspect there will be other fizzy no mark brands in to fill the void before long, as for me well I will have to revert to the Aussie Favourite Fosters that always gives me a headache

If it was Stella they would call it Wife Beater!!
