Seems this ebay seller made a meal of buying up some of the Travelodge cheap rooms when they were on offer back in the colder Months.
5 Rooms all for Wednesday 22nd July 2009. Will be an expensive mistake if he cannot offload them!!

And lets not forget with Travelodge and Premier Inns you do not get breakfast thrown in and they will sting you for parking onsite. Do your research much more carefully and you can get an equally good standard room which includes breakfast and parking and is often cheaper. Looks iffy to me. The seller states ‘My reason for selling is that i am no unable to make this date due to other commitments!’ Seems weird that the seller cant use any of the 5 rooms they booked!!!
Dont you have to give Travel Lodge the Credit card that was used to book when you arrive?
If not think of the damage that someone could cause and it would be billed to the seller. Seems very iffy, I would steer clear.
I reckon he bought the rooms in the £9 sale and has tried to knock them out for a profit on ebay.
But you are of course quite right Travelodge must hold the card details of the person that made the booking and not having read their T&C they may well not be transferrable.
