  Better hurry the last weekend that the lightswill be on is this coming weekend (4 Nov)
  Train route-wise you can either go
  Southampton – Waterloo, tube, Euston – Preston, Preston – Blackpool
  Southampton – Birmingham, Birmingham – Preston, Preston – Blackpool
  or on some trains its possible to go Southampton – Preston, Preston to Blackpool.
  Journey time in all circumstances is around 5 – 5.5 hours sometimes more at weekends.
  Fares depend on time of travel, whether you’ve booked etc. My advice is to get a family railcard before you go – adults get a third off adult fares and children get 60% off child fares – see http://www.family-railcard.co.uk/
