Disabled B&B Blackpool

Here at Moorbank House we have some facilities for guests who may be disabled but have limited mobility. We don’t have a lift to the upper floors or converted bathrooms but we are able to offer ground floor en-suite rooms. Whilst guests who are confined to wheelchairs have stayed with us in the past we do encourage you to read our access statement to make sure we have the level of accommodation you need. We describe ourselves as a disability access B&B Blackpool which may suit guests with some mobility.

We have two ground floor double rooms and a Family Rooms which sleeps 4 and it equipped with a double bed and set of bunks. This may be ideal for a family with a disabled youngster.

We want to make your stay in Blackpool as happy and relaxing as you would want it to be so if you have any questions about the facilities we can offer please call us on 01253-344385. Alternatively we have prepared an access statement which  goes into some detail about the layout of the ground floor at our Bed and Breakfast, facilities in the rooms and parking arrangement’s for disabled guests.

Guests who require ground floor rooms are always allocated parking to the front of the property and whilst we do not have a facility where these scooters can be brought into the property, many guests have in the past been able to leave them in their cars and bring the battery packs in of an evening to charge overnight. Alternatively there are two shops within 5 minutes of the front door who hire out mobility scooters at a daily rate. These are ever more popular in Blackpool since the Promenade has been updated and the Tram service made disabled friendly.

If we are unable to provide the level of support you need simply call us and we can give you the names of other disabled friendly hotels in South Shore Blackpool who may be able to meet your needs.
